Glad you had good time.

I particularly liked seeing the woven plaid blanket unusual with its embroidered flowers in the squares. And a cheddar (I'm learning the names for civil war colors) and blue colored tartan caught my eye.

Your walking wheel is grand. It seems to belong just where it is situated - as if it has been in that spot for a long, long time and never been moved from it. Fiber festivals are my very favorite to participate in what with all the babydoll sheep, angora goats and every wondrous bit of fiber crafts one could hope for. It is a cozy type of a show to attend and exhibit in. Do you love to dye things? I do... I dye wool, corn husks, yarn, fabric, ribbon and eggs! You have a walking Wheel just like mine...but I am a lousy spinner and you seem to be quite adept at it.jerilandershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07418564262425621746noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1692353766608445190.post-55940796198668139682015-10-19T10:56:31.747-04:002015-10-19T10:56:31.747-04:00I wish I had known about this event-we could have ...I wish I had known about this event-we could have gone too...I do love Fiber Fairs, and of course, all the music. I'm going to take a class later this month, I hope, at a nearby library. I'd like to make some miniature hooked rugs for my dollhouse. How nice to meet all the talented craftsman. The hand dyed yarns are such beautiful colors. The hooked rugs are certainly one of my favorites and reminds me to start a project. He has given us the opportunity as a human race to DISCOVER the art of creativity, problem-solving, invention for necessity, creation for happiness. He is the best teacher to ever exist, and we His "students" learn each day as we test our skills and produce with our hands. What a great community of people you belong to, who cherish what seems simple in this culture of big industry, but what truly shines. AND that the Mouskins too enjoy their spinning and baking and housekeeping is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUN! Tea Rat agrees that spinning your own cloth (though he wears NO clothing) is a capital idea. How he's love to sip a cup with them, and I with YOU!

LOTS OF LOVE, LINNIE! A gentleman from the National Wool Museum was there using the same type of wheel you have. Sadly, I was on my way to a meeting and running late so could not stop. He will be there again.
Such a wonderful, fun day out with all the craft and music. What instrument did you take? Did you have a go on the {are they} zithers?
Heartfelt thanks to you for sharing this magical day out! ~~~Deb xoxoRustic Pumpkinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07335714529878600216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1692353766608445190.post-20698237907902388432015-10-17T23:57:18.004-04:002015-10-17T23:57:18.004-04:00Looks like a lot of fun!
