Ice Bird

The Ice Bird waited
Quietly
Coldly
Motionlessly

Without
            a Word
                        or a Thought

Just waited
for the Thaw.......

for New Life
to Begin...

Therefore if any man be in Christ,
he is a new creature:
old things are passed away;
behold, all things are become new.

Beloved, I wish above all things
that thou mayest prosper
and be in health,
even as thy soul prospereth.

  1. Oh dearest Linnie, that photo of the ice is absolutely perfect as a bird! WOW, that is a rare thing. Here is Minnesota, we have had such mild temps in the last few days, but it is predicted that TONIGHT we are getting more snow! WHAT? We just had a major thaw and we can actually see the ground again! But thank GOD we have the seasons that come to shape our faith, non? Thank you for visiting me; I so enjoyed your last visit and post. It is difficult to keep up with everyone, but I do return visits and am enchanted with your world. Peace and the love of Christ be in your heart today!!! Anita

  3. What a magnificent sight, the ice bird! We have had the most incredible weather, almost like Spring for days and days. I have actually been gardening with transplanted native bulbs growing on our land. I hope you are able to do the same soon!
